Pre and post system implementation studies
Before you embark on the implementation of a new system, we can undertake a pre-
implementation study, analysing existing systems, existing processes, data requirements, reporting requirements and strategic improvement opportunities.
This results in a comprehensive ‘blue print’ for the new system. It can also provide a valuable ‘gap analysis’ of the fit between the new system capabilities and the enterprise requirements. We are then able to architect solutions to deal with the gaps that have been identified.
We can apply a similar process to an existing system. This will deliver a ‘blue print’ that can be used to define a programme capable of achieving strategic improvements necessary to meet the evolving needs of the enterprise.
Project initiation
Scyllogis can assist in the initiation of any IT change programme. Based on PRINCE2 techniques we can define project parameters including:
•Project scope, exclusions, objectives, deliverables, constraints, critical success factors
•Cross project dependencies
•Defined method of approach
•Assumptions
•Key milestones
•Organizational structure
•Project Governance
•Quality Control
Programme/project management
Effective project management is key to successful realisation of any project.
Scyllogis assign experienced project and programme managers who take full responsibility for managing your project in line with proven PRINCE2 techniques.
We will also provide project managers with proven track records in successful troubleshooting and project recovery.
System design and integration
Scyllogis possesses the expertise required for both functional and technical architecture roles.
We are able to design new systems from scratch and also to mastermind the integration of existing systems into the enterprise landscape.
We have significant experience in designing insurance ‘front office’ systems harnessing modern, browser based technologies. These can then be integrated with legacy ‘mid office’ and ‘back office’ systems enabling them to be successfully deployed to business partners or customers, as well as internal users. Such integration might involve, for example, automated data flows via interfaces that span different technologies or might entail ‘real time’ integration via a ‘service oriented approach’.
Combining management and technical expertise with deep industry understanding, we collaborate with your business and technology leadership teams to conceive and implement systems and applications that deliver real results in your business.
